New Opinion played at the Quest this past saturday. Clearly the biggest stage New Opinion has
played on to date. They had they're recently added other guitar player Andy Fisher play with them. It was amazing
to be playing on the same stage bands the likes of Reel Big Fish and Blink 182 have played on. Thanks to everyone who
bought a ticket and/or came to watch us play, it was great. We didn't win the battle or anything because only the top
two bands won, and there were 45 bands, we must have gotten third lol. Some out of towners came to watch including Steve's
special lady which was quite a treat. New Opinion played 6 songs, (Lakes, Partake, Karate, SG3, Stay, 7) and it
was qutie a powerfull set. We even had Nick Wander crowd surfing at one point. Thanks for coming out. Keep
it real, mad real.

Friday night New Opinion played at the Mermaid for the second time in their careers.
It was a night honoring the beginning of Solid Groove Entertainment. The show started out with a breathe taking and
simply amazing performance by the Sick Puppets. They wrote some songs about puberty and being pregnant, it was pretty
sweet. Then the N.O. played some songs. They played a michael jackson cover on behalf of his court case victory
earlier this week, that son of a bitch lol. Over all N.O. played pretty swell and then after the show went to buffalo
wild wings, and Jeremy got in a bar fight with three bikers. After N.O. (sorry too lazy to write New Opinion), played,
Bangarang played a smashing set displaying some new origonals that will make most females pass out and have the sudden urge
to punch a shark in the face. Anyways New Opinion is once again stating that we will go to record, and this time, it's
still not official. Peace out bitches. And p.s. I have personally accepted that everything sucks.

Novaks backyard. It was allright. Have had better performaces, i'm not gonna lie.
Madinchina was pretty sweet they had like a 311 vibe going, i liked it. Shanks were shanking as usual, and bangarang
was banging as usual. New Opinion played some music. Jamie came late, so Jeremy and Steve played Beverly Hills with
Eddie from Bangarang. Then Jamie got there and we had to cut down our set, we took out 4 songs i believe. Then
we played and Jamies guitar kept shorting out and once again the mic wasn't loud enough on most of the songs. Oh well.
New Opinion has had some bad luck lately, but we'll come back don't worry. Sorry this post is depressing. But
i just woke up so i don't feel like being funny. Were recording soon, but i'm sure everyones getting tired of us saying
that, so i wont say anything till we actually do it. Also we might be playing at a a party for some dj company or something,
don't really know anything about it. Were going to start practicing regularly again and hopefully finish up a song we
want to record. Then after we record write a lot of new material and be ready to play shows all fall and winters are
usually slow so probably write some more, and then come back to where we are now. Well i think it's time for me to eat
some Count Chocula, watch Sportscenter, or The Wiggles, and then maybe take a shower, for the first time in a month, were
trying to cut down the water bill...ok i so i smell...i like cologne baths...peace out.

Rock, I had rock for lunch, that's why i'm doing this....YES IT HAPPENED. Despite
pre-week mishaps including a breakdown of studio equipment on the morning anouncments, a rough audition, and a fight
between the members of the band, the week ended gloriously, NEW OPINION PLAYED THE TALENT SHOW, quite well might I add.
They played the critically aclaimed And The Lakes Began to Boil and the new song which, at the time, was untitled, so the
temporary title was called Song 7 (even though it's not the 7th song we wrote or seventh song on a cd, it just had a nice
ring). It showed the more poppy side that New Opinion can bring and had the crowd clapping along and gained rave reviews
from John Scarr of the Shanks and other female species including Erika Carr. But yes New Opinion played "a
hell of a show" and could possibly appear on MTV and gained praise from MC Alyssa Williams for Steve's unusual talent
at playing the drums and singing at the same time. Simply Stunning. All the other bands played
real good too, yes, even MDL sounded good. Shanks dominated. Bangarang used a strobe light and got panties thrown
at them. Sick Puppets annihalted like they always do, it's always a party with that band. Anyways thank you to
everyone who came out and saw us at the talent show, it was really awesome and we hope to be back next year. New
Opinion plans to take a temporary break from shows to finish writing a song and to finally start recording, they
finally got around to calling the recording studio, and hopefully a demo cd of up to 8 songs will be put out before
school ends. Untill then, stay lean, stay mean, stay rocking machines.
February 7, 2005 (again)
By the way, Ms. Bueltel is strongly urging that we change the band name from the
critically aclaimed New Opinion, to The Steve George Band, or The Steve George Experience. Not a bad idea, and any of
you ladies interested, there is nothing like The Steve George Experience, let me tell you.

As Kevin Law put it, we must be having the best week ever. And I can't lie,
it hasn't been bad. We played at Kevin Law's party saturday night and had an excelent time doing it. We played
last because the shanks didn't want to seem like just becuase it was their party that they had to play last or somethign like
that, and they were'nt going to let MDL play last, so we gladly took the job. MDL played about as good as i excpected
them too, those people that know us, you konw what we are talking about. The Shanks played simply amazing. I hate
to say it but i was expecting a much lower quality of sound for a combination of reasons such as they havn't been a band that
long and I was unsure of John's singing abilities and I heard a cassette audio tape of them without and drums or vocals in
it and it sounded iffy. But they definitely rocked their own party. Then came the sexual revolution known as New
Opinion. They displayed new origonals such as And The Lakes Began To Boil, SG3, Bring You To You Knees, and others there
and also played a few covers. One of which Steve stood up and sang and danced and jumped around like a mad man and jeremy
switched over to the drums. It seemed to please the ladies. And New Opinion was a good finish to a party that
rocked so hard. The Shanks recieved the encore how ever, but they should have, not only was it their party, but they
sounded so great that it could make a couger purr. Anyways a few days after on monday, New Opinion played for a half
an hour before school to kick off ice age week at school and to let people know who we be. It was a surprise to about
half of the students, while the other half allready knew it was going down. Anyways it was a very good week and New
Opinion is going to write a few songs, maybe get one or two more shows, and then hopefully record a demo cd sometime in the
spring. So you have that to look forward too. Anyways i hope you all have a good valentines day, and for you people
going to ice age, I hope that you all get naked and indulge in some heavy petting. Sorry for the lengthliness, but there
was alot to report. That's all for this portion of the news, Signing off, I'm White Chocolate.

Well well well looks like it's time for another news post. First of all, Happy Holidays, Chritmas,
New Years, Chaunika (or hanuka however u spell it), kwanza, and of coarse, Festivus. Anyways at the time New Opinion
is writing some songs still, no writers block for the band yet, but the big news is, we are looking for a lead singer.
Untill we find one Steve and Jeremy will still be singing like birds but we all agreed it would be much easier and more sexually
gratifying if we had a lead singer. We posted a few posters through out our school yet only got two responces, we havn't
tried out either of them yet however because Jamie our guitar player was sentenced to Puerto Rico to recieve a royal Caining
after he peed on a Puerto Rican Cigar Shop while shouting "God Bless America!". Minor detail he was naked except for
the American flag he spray painted all over his body. We are planning on putting up more posters around local music
stores looking for singers unless of coarse one of our two, how you say, nominees, sounds good. Anyways I
hope you all get presents that give you ceizurs or rabies, and from now till next time, what happens on new opinions
web site, stays on new opinions website.

Two days ago New Opinion played as the opening band for the Irondale Homecoming tailgating party.
This obviously brought Irondale the power they needed to defeat Rogers 21-0. New Opinion was supposed to play later
in the show but due to the other bands, besides Sephus, showed up late, so we were brutally forced by Janitors and Lunch Ladies
to play first. And that ment we had to test the microphones. Our first 3 songs were overpowered by feedback from
the microphones, but about half way through the set we got the mic situation all set despite a slight malfunction during the
karate kid strikes back (again). Now New Opinion is however disapointed with the crowd turn out, they told everyone
they knew to come, and about 6 people were watching us. Oh well, there loss, they missed out on good rock and sexy bodies
tearin it up. This is all news for now, besides the fact that one of Jamies Guitars of Exultant Joy was broken by some
duesh bag, and that New Opinion is nagotiating recording their first cd with a pro recording studio. And this concludes
our broadcast day. Click.

New Opinion played there first show without Andrew singing a couple weeks ago and it was a hornless
show because Matt and Dan both couldn't show up. But they still rocked the house down, or so the fans say. Steve
George of New Opinion (N/O) thought that they did not play to there rock potential but many of the fans disagreed. In
fact many of the bands sayed that they were the best band there and that is even more of a shock counting they started practicing
singing that same week. Well looks like new opinion is back and better than ever, it is only a matter of time before
they are on tour with Reel Big Fish, Weezer, and Mark E Mark and The Funky Bunch.
(June 25 2004)
quick wrap up of current events...jordan quit, dan grano replaced him and will also sing on some tunes and play keyboards
on some songs...we might have a show in august with Sephus...we might play a party at Katelyn Shwieters...Jeremy was the guy
in the Paris Hilton sex tape...Matt filmed it.

THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN!!! The rumors you have heard being whispered through the deepest depths of Taco Bell
drive-thrus', Home Depot's, and Bed Bath and Body are all true, New Opinion is back in buisnazz baby. We have
morphed our outragous powers that strike through our guitar axes and drum barracks into something that it so amazing it would
make Lyle Lovett cream in his pants. We have gone ska. Adding Jordan The Annihilator and Matt The Spirit of The
Antelope to play trombone and trumpet is only the greatest decision we have ever made. We could play two shows at TC
underground and The Depot Coffee house but unfortunatly our pre-determined schedules do not allow it. But don't be frightined,
we will be rocking your local house of power soon enough, but untill then, sayonara senoritas.
